Presenting the traditional Khatta Meetha Mango Chunda, made using an ancient traditional receipie that's forgotten with time. May is the month for making pickles, raw mangoes are in abundance and the sun come out in its full glory. Off the different variants available in the market, Sindhis are known to create magic with the totapuri. Our traditional Shahi Chunda is made using the choicest selection of totapuri mangoes which are hand picked at the perfect time, i.e just before they begin to ripen. The timing needs to be right, as the mangoes still retain thier sourness along with a hint of sweetness kicking in. Then they are grated and mixed with a delicate balance of spices and freshly made jaggery that adds the perfect balance bringing in the khatta meetha combination that's been savored since ages by royalty and other alike.
